So you’ve seen the recent Apple announcements, and are looking to buy the new laptops. Well where can you get them the cheapest? Because laptops are laptops, and Apple is Apple, so price is the big factor in deciding where to purchase your new machine.

Typically when new hardware comes out, you’re most likely going to have to be paying full retail price. Luckily, you may have a couple of options to cheat retail.

Apple Education Store

Purchasing through the Apple education store for your local college or university, you can save $100 on the new 13″ Macbook Pro Mini.

To enter the education store, click on the Apple Education site and enter in a college, you don’t need a college ID, and we won’t tell anyone if you do purchase it.

Amazon is one of the best places to find new Apple hardware. For the most recent Macbook Air release, I was able to pickup a Macbook Air for $70 off, via rebate, plus I didn’t pay any sales tax, saving me another $100.
